Gary Chatham, M.A. in Counseling, hosts a bi-weekly Anxiety Group and Stress Group (both online and in-person)

If you are feeling more stressed and anxious, especially since the pandemic started, you are not alone.  Stress and anxiety are now affecting 4 in 10 adults.

You may experience symptoms of:

  • Racing thoughts
  • Rapid heartbeat
  • Sweaty palms
  • An inability to focus
  • Trouble with work and/or relationships

Anxiety can also lead to feeling lonely and isolated, feelings also made worse by conditions from the pandemic.

Often people who belong to groups have found that meeting with others that share the same challenges helps, and reduces their feelings and symptoms.

People who belong to support groups have found that meeting with others who share the same challenges can be therapeutic.  Here, you can:

  • Connect with others
  • Safely express how you feel
  • Be encouraged and encourage others
  • Learn new methods and techniques for stress management and anxiety reduction
  • Become acquainted with natural, holistic remedies for stress and anxiety, that can be taken with other medications, with no side effects

Your guide, on the journey to feeling better, is Gary Chatham, M.A.  Gary has worked in private practice, a community counseling center, and a university counseling center.  He believes in the “magic of groups,” and takes a body/mind/spirit approach.

Our group provides an affordable way that you can be supported, start to find relief, and begin to feel better.
